Our chefs use only the freshest, finest ingredients and of course from as local a source as possible. 

Our meat is supplied by Yorkshire Dales Meat, and our Sunday roasts are provided by McNay's of Staxton.

Our excellent fish is Whitby landed and delivered fresh daily.

Food is served in the dining room or bar. 

Sunday Lunch is extremely popular at The Anvil, and booking is essential. We serve a traditional English Sunday lunch menu, direct from kitchen to table.
